Some of the words found were "SEX, F----, DEATH", a lewd word used to describe a woman's vaginal area, and many, many "unprintables". These words are actually embedded in the "art" work of the ad photos. One such message, a mosaic of minute "sexes", was found on an ad for Ritz Crackers. These words are either lightly air-brushed on, or put in the ad copy with an "etching" process. Another way that subliminals are incorporated into advertising, is to write "sexsexsex" in a mosaic pattern on a transparent overlay. The overlay is photographed alone at high speed, THEN, it is double-exposed over the desired ad copy, at perhaps 1/20th of the speed used to photograph the overlay. In this fashion, the desired subliminal words can be added to any photograph or drawing, by varying speed and light. INCREDIBLE! Your conscious mind totally ignores it, as far as you realizing what you are actually viewing - BUT - your SUBCONSCIOUS absorbs everything, and believe me - IT GETS IT!
